Maheshbabu's Sainikudu Relesing all over the world on 30th December with 512 prints


First ever premiere show of a Telugu film on Nov 30th in New York.


Today morning (Nov 29), the Sainikudu team of Mahesh Babu, director Gunashekar and music director Harris Jayaraj has left for US.

They are attending the first ever premiere show of a Telugu film on Nov 30th in New York. Mahesh has a huge fan base in US. His last two films Athadu and Pokiri have crossed Rs 1.50 Crores in overseas market and with Sainikudu, he wants to create hat-trick.

But the film will not be released on November 30th in major centers except for the New Jersey, as the prints were not shipped at the right time. The film was censored on Monday night and it was given an UA certificate. Only minor cuts related to the comments on a Television news channel were suggested by the CBFC.

Says Ashwini Dutt: “All I can say at this moment is that Sainikudu is technical feast. I am proud that I have produced a film with such highly technical standards on par with Hollywood films. The floods on the screen look gigantic and massive.” Dutt also praised the work of music director Harris Jayaraj and action choreographer Peter Haynes.

Mahesh plays the role of youngster Siddardh who revolts against the corrupt political system when the politicians leave villagers in lurch, after they were devastated by the floods. The film has Warangal,the historical town as the backdrop. Trisha plays a village belle who is passionate about films. Hindi actor Irfan Khan plays a corrupt politician.
